There were emotional scenes as a brand new school building opened to serve the people of Whiteley. The £12m building will also double as the base for the C of E church in the town, giving the congregation their first permanent base since Whiteley Church began in 1995. Our commissary bishop today opens a new building that will be the home of Cornerstone C of E Primary School in Whiteley. The £12m building will also be the new home of Hope Church, Whiteley, the church covering the whole of the town of Whiteley. Bishop Rob will lead the very first act of collective worship to be held in the new building, on the first day of the autumn term. Read more
