    Members of the Mothers’ Union in Shedfield and Wickham showed their care for parents whose children were starting term at two local schools. They provided ‘Bags of Love’, which included treats for those dropping off their children at the reception classes in Wickham and Shedfield schools. Read more

    Bishop Christopher led a short, socially-distanced service of prayer at the foundations of the new Cornerstone C of E Primary School site in Whiteley. He was joined by Rev Philippa Mills, vicar of Whiteley Church, as well as local councillors, school governors and teachers, representatives of Midas Group, the construction company, and local MP Flick Drummond.   • Peace Pole project draws together Year 6 pupils

    Year 6 pupils from church schools across the diocese have been taking part in a project to create Peace Poles during this academic year. Normally they would gather at our cathedral for a Leavers' Service, when they would take part in workshops and worship around the same theme. This year, they were unable to gather, but shared in a video that will be available for all pupils to watch, at home or at school, at the end of this term. Read more

  • Launch of new Pop-Up Cathedral to visit schools

    Our cathedral has launched a mobile Pop-Up Cathedral, which will tour schools and give pupils a flavour of cathedral spirituality. The Pop-Up Cathedral was given a trial run with pupils from Liss Infant and Junior Schools, and the feedback from pupils and staff was positive. The official launch will be at our cathedral on March 31. Read more
