A photo exhibition at Portsmouth Cathedral will celebrate the work of the church around the world.

Entitled ‘Life in all its fullness’, the exhibition has been organised by the Anglican mission agency Us (formerly USPG).

The event runs from 18 to 30 April, with a special Evensong starting at 6pm, followed by a reception, on Sunday 19 April, to which all are invited. The preacher will be the Revd Dr James Grenfell, the Us Director for Mission Engagement.

James said: "The stunning photographs in this exhibition provide an exciting opportunity to see examples of the work of Us around the world. They capture the richness, vibrancy, courage and hope displayed by our many church partners.

"I hope that people in Portsmouth Diocese will enjoy the exhibition, be inspired by the work they see illustrated, and want to become more involved in global mission."

The exhibition comprises 24 images depicting the mission of the church throughout Africa, Asia and Latin America, including a special focus on the church in Ghana, which has a link with Portsmouth Diocese.
