St John’s Church, Locks Heath is looking to recruit a part-time Youth & Families Team Leader.

If you love Jesus, love his Word, and love working with youth, this is an exciting opportunity for you! St John’s Locks Heath is a great family to be part of. We currently have around 40 young people (11-18s) registered with us.

WHO YOU ARE

A growing Christian (Genuine Occupational Requirement), with a passion to see children and young people nurtured in faith, and transformed by Jesus through the power of his Holy Spirit. Your character and faith are central to this role.

You will enjoy communicating with young people and adults. You’ll be sufficiently organised to plan ahead, equip volunteers, and prepare material week by week. We also hope you’d be committed to joining our church family and worshipping with us.

You would:

• Join a committed and well-established ministry team
• Minister alongside colleagues and interns
• Build on existing links with local schools
• Further develop the young people’s ministry within the church
• Help us to grow our young people spiritually and numerically.
