Children and Families Team Lead (Children’s Minister)
Do you love Jesus and sense a call to be a leader within a team helping children to know him too?
If you love Jesus, love his Word, and love working with children, this is an exciting opportunity for you! St John’s Locks Heath is a great family to be part of. We currently have around 40 young people (11-18s) registered with us, though on Sundays we would normally see around 25 across that age range. Additionally, we have a thriving toddlers’ group and a Messy Church team. So, this is a ministry with strong foundations in place and ready to be take to the next level!
WHO YOU ARE
A growing Christian (Genuine Occupational Requirement), with a passion to see children nurtured in faith, and transformed by Jesus through the power of his Holy Spirit. Your character and faith are central to this role.
You will enjoy communicating with children, young people and adults. You’ll be sufficiently organised to plan ahead, equip volunteers, and prepare material week by week. We also hope you’d be committed to joining our church family and worshiping with us.
