CedarOak has offered a counselling service in Gosport for over 25 years for people who have experienced any form of baby loss. We are looking for two additions to our team of volunteers.

A professional counsellor qualified to at least Diploma level

to support people experiencing grief and trauma. Counsellors have the use of comfortable, well-presented rooms to meet with clients. The charity pays for professional team supervision; encourages peer supervision; gives reasonable financial support for Continuing Professional Development and pays travel expenses. You would need to be available to work on Thursdays from 3-8pm with up to 3 clients.

An administrator with office based experience

to manage client bookings and give admin support to counsellors; handle enquiries and respond to emails and telephone calls; take notes at team meetings and follow up any actions; create reports for trustees meetings and work with the Chair of Trustees to ensure that all documentation ensuring the effective running of the charity is up to date. You would need to be available on Mondays from 12-4 and Thursdays from 3-8 working an alternating pattern of hours with the other administrator. Induction training would be given.

We are a charity motivated by our Christian faith. The charity offers the team a supportive and friendly environment in which to work. Everyone contributes their time and skill voluntarily.
