Buildings Project Manager
This is a new role in the diocese, supporting us as we journey together in our vision to become a rejuvenating community of Jesus-centred, Kingdom-seeking disciples.
This role sits within the Strategic Programme team and will support parishes to make their buildings fit for wider mission and ministry.
The post holder will manage a caseload of building-specific projects in line with the objectives of the Diocesan strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The work will initially include managing two projects in Fareham and Paulsgrove, with further projects to follow.
We are looking for a team player with a proven track record of managing projects with a significant building element and an ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
It’s an exciting time to join us as we launch a major new phase of missional work for rejuvenation and growth across the diocese. Our new strategy will be supported by a recent award of £5.3m in funding by the SMMI Board. Read more about that here.
Approaches to finding out more are encouraged. Please email Vanda Leary, Strategic Programme Manager, to arrange a time to speak further.
