    Worshippers at St Peter and St Paul, Hambledon, celebrated the season of Creationtide with a range of services and activities designed to mark care for God’s creation. These included a pet service, a Harvest tea and Communion celebrated in a farmer’s barn. Read more

  • The team who keep Rowner’s churchyard looking beautiful

    This is the team who help to keep the churchyard and church grounds beautiful at St Mary the Virgin, Rowner. The men and women of ‘Eden’ volunteer to mow grass, pull out weeds, creosote fences and keep graves tidy. Some are members of the congregation, some have friends or family buried in the churchyard. They also support each other, and those who come to grieve. Read more

  • Toddler group helps towards achieving Eco Church award

    St George’s Church, Waterlooville, is working towards an Eco Church bronze award and has made its grounds more bird-friendly. The church’s Eco Church Group and Toddler group collaborated to put up four bird boxes and six bug hotels. Read more

    Worshippers at Church of the Resurrection, Farlington, planted trees outside their building as one way of showing their commitment to the environment. The leader of Portsmouth City Council, Cllr Gerald Vernon-Jackson, joined them to plant the first tree. Read more
