‘Boris bike’ scheme could be launched in refurbished church
St Margaret’s Community Church in Eastney could be the headquarters for a new scheme to place loan bikes across the city. The ‘Boris bike’ scheme is just one of the projects that the church will host in its desire to be at the heart of the local community. Funding from the national Church will help worshippers to refurbish the building, so that worship can re-start there - four years after it was declared unsafe. Read more
