Worshippers have opened a new tranquility garden to create a space for relaxation, reflection and prayer. The team from Church of the Good Shepherd, Lake, and St Saviour's, Shanklin, have been working since April to create the new space, which will be especially geared towards the needs of people living with dementia. Children dress up to launch church’s 1,000th birthday
Pupils from Meonstoke C of E Infant School dressed up in costumes from the past 1,000 years, as they launched a year of celebrations at Corhampton Church. The church – thought to be the oldest in the diocese in continuous use – will mark its 1,000th year with a programme of celebrations in 2020. Read more
