WORSHIPPERS at St Cuthbert’s Church, Copnor, Portsmouth have created an Easter Egg trail with a difference as part of their Easter celebrations.

Twelve knitted eggs have been hidden in the local community for families to discover.

Church members have knitted the eggs and placed them in shops along Tangier Road and in the library.

Each egg has been marked with a letter from the alphabet. When unscrambled the letters spell out three words which sum up what Christians celebrate at Easter.

Worshippers have put together a trail leaflet which lists the names of the places where you can find the eggs between April 7 and 22.

Those leaflets are available in Alderman Lacey Library from Monday 7 April. 

All completed entries will be entered into a prize draw.
