Real Easter Egg Competition
IMAGINE tucking into a Real Easter Egg this Easter Sunday. Eight lucky young people will be doing just that – thanks to a special creative competition being run by our Diocese this Easter.
We are inviting young people to sum up the real meaning of Easter in 100 words or a picture. The picture can be drawn or photographed.
There are four categories: pictures from children aged under 11, words by children aged under 11, pictures from those aged 11-18 and words by those aged 11-18. The top two in each of those categories will win a Real Easter Egg.
The winners will be announced on Easter Sunday (31 March) via this page of our website, our Facebook page and our Twitter feed.
Entries can be submitted by e-mail or post (Julie Minter, Communications Assistant, Diocese of Portsmouth, First Floor, Peninsular House, Wharf Road, Portsmouth, PO2 8HB).
The deadline for entries is: Thursday 28 March (Maundy Thursday).
The Real Easter Egg is the first and only Fairtrade chocolate Easter Egg to explain the Christian understanding of Easter on the box. It also supports charity and development projects.
