Bishop Kenneth diagnosed with leukaemia
Late last week the Bishop's office announced that Bishop Kenneth had been taken into hospital with leukaemia .
He does not yet know how long the treatment will last, but he is due to start chemotherapy early next week. Despite the initial shock, he is feeling very positive.
Kenneth is making arrangements for oversight of the diocese in his absence, but inevitably this means that many events and diary arrangements will be cancelled. Bishopsgrove and the Bishop's Staff will do all they can to respond to any enquiries, but would appreciate it if contact is limited to urgent matters for the time being.
Kenneth and Sarah would value your prayers, but have asked that people do not visit or send flowers because of the risk of infection. Please pray for Kenneth, the family, and the diocese at this time.
