Magazine distribution
The distribution system for our diocesan magazine @CofEPortsmouth involves placing bundles for each parish at a number of ‘deanery depots’ around the diocese. Volunteers from each parish then pick up the bundle for their churches and ensure they are handed out to worshippers on the appropriate Sunday.
In 2025, we’ll have four editions which will be available in our churches from the end of February, May, September and November. We’d be really grateful if volunteers from each parish could pick up their copies on the dates listed below:

Deanery depots
The bundles for each parish are left in the following places:
- North-east Isle of Wight (Ryde & surrounding parishes): Holy Cross Church, Binstead
- South-east Isle of Wight (Ventnor, Sandown, Shanklin etc): St Catherine’s Church, Ventnor
- Central Isle of Wight (Newport, Carisbrooke, Barton, Gatcombe): Carisbrooke Priory (Fridays: 10am-4pm only)
- West Wight: Delivered by Angela Bamsey to individual parishes
- Gosport deanery: Cornerstone Bookshop, 9 Bemister’s Lane, Gosport, PO12 1HB (10am-4pm only)
- Fareham deanery: Bishopsgrove, 26 Osborn Road, Fareham, PO16 7DQ (Thursday: 9am-3pm, Friday: 9am-2pm)
- Bishop’s Waltham deanery: St Nicholas Church, Wickham (FEB 2025 only: St John the Baptist Shedfield)
- Petersfield deanery: St Peter’s Church, Petersfield
- Leigh Park and surrounding parishes: St Francis Church, Riders Lane, Leigh Park
- Havant, Emsworth, Hayling Island and surrounding parishes: St Faith’s rectory, 5 Meadowlands, Havant, PO9 2RP
- Havant deanery, west of A3(M): St Wilfrid’s Church, Padnell Road, Cowplain
- Portsmouth deanery: Peninsular House, Wharf Road, Portsmouth, PO2 8BG
