PRAYER PILGRIMAGE: Portsmouth

We’re spending seven days walking around and through all seven deaneries within our diocese as we mark the 10th anniversary of Thy Kingdom Come. This is the global, ecumenical call for prayer, which inspires us to pray for our family and friends to become disciples of Jesus. The Rev Andrew Hargreaves, our interim director of Ministry and Discipleship, is leading these seven days of prayer and pilgrimage from June 2-8.
Portsmouth
Day 7 of our Thy Kingdom Come pilgrimages brings us to Portsmouth deanery. Pilgrims will begin their walk at Portsmouth Cathedral at 12.30pm and walk around Portsea Island via Eastney, Eastern Road, Hilsea Lido and Peninsular House.
We'll be praying together as we walk around, with a specific time of led prayer on the hour, each hour.
The pilgrimage will end with a Pentecost Celebration Prayer service in our cathedral at 7.15pm. Walkers and non-walkers are welcome to this. Worship will be led by Harbour Church.
