Emotionally Healthy Discipleship is an international ministry dedicated to transforming church culture through the multiplication of deeply changed leaders and disciples. To this end, they equip church leaders to lead out of their inner life with Christ and to raise up mature disciples in their church, community and the world. Join an online course, run in partnership with Guildford Diocese, that covers important discipleship themes such as the rhythms of a daily office and Sabbath, journey through the wall (dark night of the soul), rules of life, and enlarging your soul through grief and loss.

  • Wednesday 30th April through to 25th June, with a break for half-term on May 28th
  • 1pm to 3:30pm each session
  • Online

The course is delivered via Zoom with live teaching from Danny Wignall, video input from Pete Scazzero and others. There will be facilitated group discussion breakout groups as well as time alone. In addition, there will be some reading between sessions and an opportunity for a 1:1 coaching session.

What previous participants have said about the course:

“The EHS course has had quite a significant effect on my overall well being ... The areas in which it has specifically impacted is on spreading the ministry load and being sustained and equipped for the breath of parish ministry. I feel this course has invaluable content in discipling believers helping them live the abundant life that Christ offered, putting that into practice however isn't quite so easy.” Jill Gooding, SSM Curate, Holy Trinity Aldershot

“... it equips and sustains us for the breadth of parish ministry. At its heart, this is a discipleship journey – out of discipleship flows shared leadership, the empowerment of others, and healthier ways of sharing the Gospel. The course deepens our understanding of who we are and what we are called to be and do. Loving well – God, self, and others – is central to the Gospel and to emotionally healthy leadership.” Patrick Bateman, Vicar of Holy Trinity Claygate

The cost is £150 for an individual and £250 for a couple - but bursaries are available if this is an issue
