This module attempts to cover the main questions of faith that influence us today in our contemporary Christianity, taking a difficult question and thinking about it in the light of the Church’s historic doctrines. Each week you will find a new subject to discover. There is also a task, which as usual in this programme involves some extended work over a period of weeks. It is a very practical task, and one which we hope will lead you to a better understanding of the regular worship of the Church.
The module aims to give you an opportunity:
- To study the historical development of Christian beliefs
- To enquire into some difficult contemporary questions concerning faith
- To learn with a group
- To discover the richness and diversity of Christian thinking
- To examine some theology behind a hymn
