St Matthew's, GU33 6BN
St Matthew’s is a holy place serving not just the people of Blackmoor but also those who live in Whitehill. It is not just a building but a place where people of all ages come to worship and learn more about Jesus Christ. The people of St Matthew’s are inclusive, friendly and welcoming to others of all ages and backgrounds. Our main service is a Holy Communion at 10am on Sunday mornings followed by refreshments, with plenty of other activities and services for people to enjoy, details of which you will find on this website, or on our Facebook page.
You will find our stunning church building in the quaint village of Blackmoor. It was designed by the Victorian Architect Alfred Waterhouse in the Victorian Gothic Style, and we are very proud of it. This majestic church is situated within the South Downs National Park, an area of outstanding beauty. The church is open every day for visitors and is an oasis of quiet and calm in a busy world.
We look forward to meeting you!
