Daily Prayer Guide

The January 2012 edition of the Daily Prayer Guide is here.  Please contact Canon Peter Kelly with specific parish prayer requests or feedback.

Do you blog, tweet or use Facebook...?

As a diocese, we are embracing the opportunities presented by social media, and make regular entries to our Facebook and Twitter pages.  We would like to encourage others who use social media on behalf of the church in our diocese to get in touch.  Let us know what you're doing and whether it's working.  We'd like to share ideas and share posts where relevant on the diocesan pages.  We are also interested to know if any parishes would like training in how to use social media.  Please contact Caroline Challender.

Message for parish webmasters

We are planning to invite parish webmasters to a get-together in early February.  Please forward email contact details of your parish webmaster to Caroline Challender as soon as possible.  Thank you!

Can you help at QAH?

The Chaplaincy team at Queen Alexandra Hospital are always looking for more volunteers to share in their work, by visiting patients on the wards, and showing God’s care and compassion to any people who find themselves in hospital.  If you have a caring heart and some time you can give during weekday working hours, then they would love to hear from you.  Click here for an advert and here for details of the next Pastoral training course running at the hospital.  Please publicise in your parish.
